The Annual Meeting of Bentworth Parish Council will be held in the School Hall on Tuesday May1st 2012 at 7.30pm.

Members of the public who wish to speak are asked to give their names to the clerk a few minutes before the beginning of the meeting.

Contributions will be limited to 2 minutes and this item will last a maximum of 15 minutes.

9   Finance Advisory Group: Review of delegation arrangements and Terms of Reference; Appointment to Finance Advisory Group

11  Review of arrangements for summoning councillors to Council meetings

Motion: That service of summons on councillors confirming the time, date, venue and the agenda of a meeting by delivery or post at their residences is not expedient and that such summons shall be served electronically, provided any such email contains the title of the Proper Officer.

12  Review of Standing Orders

Motion: That the revised Standing Orders, based on the model provided by the National Association of Local Councils and circulated to councillors, be adopted by Bentworth Parish Council

13  Review of Financial Regulations

Motion: That the Financial Regulations adopted by the Council at its meeting on March 7^th be confirmed for the coming year.

14  Review of Assets

Motion: That the Finance Advisory Group be asked to review the Council’s assets and report back.

15  Consideration of need for further signatory/signatories for Council cheques.

17  Review of Insurance Cover

To authorise payment of insurance premium for 2012-2013, due June 1^st 2012.

Quotations from Came and Co:  either (a) for 2012-2013;                      £414.28

      or (b) for 2012-2013 if sign a 3 year binding contract with Aviva;   £393.57

18  Review of the Council’s membership of other bodies:

(a) Hampshire Association of Local Councils;

                                                       affiliation fee for 2012/2013             £202.00

Motion: That the membership of Hampshire Association of Local Councils be continued and the fee paid

(b) Campaign for the Protection of Rural England; membership was confirmed at the Council meeting of March 7^th 2012

Motion: That the Council accept the Contract proposed by St Mary’s School for the hire of the School Hall for Council meetings.
